i used to live in the middle east for 6 years dating from middle school all the way to high school graduation. (dad works for Halliburton) I lived in Dubai for 2 years and then Muscat, Oman for 4 years. the luxury of the place is crazy, and they have more money than god. they are quite intelligent actually, they realize that oil is finite, so they are trying to establish huge tourism revenue by spending billions on resorts, casinos, and hotels. the beaches there are quite nice, imo much prettier than american beaches. in dubai, outside the burj al arab hotel, they are making a man made island in the shape of a palm tree, that you will be able to see from space. rich bastards lolZ.

Then of course you have the asshats who individually happened to strike it rich. I saw some videos of people who apparently have a ton of family money due to oil, and they were out trashing Escalades like they were worth $20. They were out trying to tip them onto 2 wheels and seeing how far they could go, just flat out abusing them.
People with that much money should learn what to do with it.
Something like setting up a tourist spot in order to maintain income due to the fact that the resource they're cashing in on will be gone some time is smart. Blowing the money on luxury cars and then destroying them isn't.

they are also making man made islands that looks like the world (each major country is its own island basically) rediculous if you ask me.
